At Havendene we cater for the following catergories of care.

• Residential: For people who are unable to cope independently.
• Long term care: For people with an illness or disability, who find they can no longer manage independently.
• Long term care: For people with a mental disability or dementia, who find they can no longer manage independently.
• Respite care: This service is designed for family members caring for elderly or disabled relatives at home. This is a flexible service for carers and family members.
• Convalescence: This service is designed for people who are recovering from illness or surgery, and need care for a short period before returning to their own home.
• Day Care: Designed for people who require care on a daily basis. Personalised times to suit your needs. Includes activities, personal care, meals and refreshments.

We offer a wide variety of services, specifically designed to cater for the needs of the elderly.

• Excellent home cooking and provision for special dietary needs.
• Activities. We have an activities organiser, as we feel activities are an important part of daily living in the home. Activities help our residents interact socially and help stimulate and motivate, giving residents a feeling of self worth. Activities include - going to the coffee morning at the church hall next door, visiting ministers giving a service in the home for those who can't attend church, going out to the local shops and cafe, resident chatshops and monthly newsletters, painting, knitting, jig-saws, reminiscence, floor games and much more.
• Personal laundry service.
• Visiting chiropody, opticians and dentist, amongst others.
• Three lounges on the ground floor ,
• Spacious dining room.
• Attractive single and twin bedroom accommodation on the ground and first floor each with hand basin.
• All bedrooms have a T.V. point - coloured T.V. available on request.

• Safety precautions include fire detectors and emergency lighting systems.
• A call system in every room.
• Visitors warmly welcomed.
• Registered with the local authority and the care quality commission..
• Residents may choose their own G.P. although we can arrange with a local G.P. to accept care of our residents.
